Just some pics...

With the business of the Christmas season, we've been quite busy (as I'm sure most are!). We are constantly doing things on the house (next blog I'll post a bunch of pictures of the renos), playing around, getting ready for Christmas and babysitting.

Here are some random pictures, good thing they're always cute (since TJ and I aren't in them).

Carter is obsessed with his toes, he's always sucking,
chewing and playing with his toes- it's pretty cute!

Carter is so proud of himself (as are we) because he is officially a sitting boy!

He is also doing this cute thing where he sticks out his tongue CONSTANTLY!!!

Payton loves helping her Opa with work around the house

Just hanging out...

Getting ready for the holidays...

The finished product :)

This is proably my favourite, doesn't he
look like an angel in our tree skirt?!

Some fun stuff...

So we finally did it, we passed all 4 of our home/garage inspections... yay!!!! We celebrated by taking our parents out for supper to Montana's. The celebration wasn't over then, we also continued with more renovations; we are sooo close to having our kitchen done. Hopefully by the end of next week we will be done!
Here's a sneak peak at where we are now...

Here are some pictures of random thigs we've been up to...

We've goofed around a lot inside because of the cold weather, and let's face it, we are goofy people!
This was a dust cover from the smole detector TJ installed.
Carter is ready for a shower

What a monkey!

We played together...
Payton's first time with markers

Does she ever love stickers!!!

Dancing with Cyrus

Payton was sharing with Carter

Here you go Carter... She really is a great big sister (most of the time)

Payton's first snowman... not quite done yet

Out for a walk, it was -15... what was I thinkin?! It took me
1/2 hour to get them all dressed and we were only out for
about 40 mins due to payton pestering Cyrus.
And don't worry, Carter was in the snuggli on me,
this was just for a picture.

We've been playing around with many different hair styles
Payton discovered the hair clip drawer as I was
cleaning the bathroom. She kept handing me clips
and tried putting them in her hair. I put all the ones
she handed to me in her hair- pretty much all of them!

I don't know what to say...

and we've posed for some pictures
Payton peed on the toilet for the first time. I thought
she may be ready for toilet training, but not quite yet!

I know it blurry, but what a goof! We just had to
take a picture of the way she was sleeping!!!

And again, she's so funny!

Halloween 2012

*** As promised, some more (better) photos***

This was Carter's first Halloween and Payton's second. This year we carved pumpkins, Payton was able to help and it turns out she LOVED it- Carter, on the other hand, slept right through it (so no pictures of him).

Payton was right in there with every step; she watched TJ cut open the pumkin, helped gut the pumpkin (which she really liked, and only tried to taste it once), she drew on it, and watched us carve it.

Getting started...

Just dive right in

My turn, Dad!

I can do it Mommy!

soooo big!!!

I got another seed, mom!

Look at all these guts Dad! How cool!!

I'll show you how it's done...

Good family fun!

The final product...

We had a Halloween party with a bunch of our friends. We thought it was a good idea because it's just so hard to see everyone in their costumes on Halloween, because of all the family we like to see and candy we like to get :)
My mom came over to help me with some of the items I wanted to have at the party... check out the cool decorations...

100% edible eye balls (minus the stick), they are timbits dipped in white chocolate, with a chocolate chip for the pupil and food coloring painted on for effect.

3 suckers wrapped up into pumpkins, ghosts, bats, spiders and Frankenstein

Milk jug ghosts

100% edible brain- just a small watermelon peeled and carved to look like a brain

From left to right: Cyrus, Caiden, Carter, Beckett, Payton, Katie, Jaden, Logan & Carson
-we were missing two little ones who were sick :(

Uncle Scottie & Carter goofing around

Payton goofing off

Carter up close in his costume
Payton with Uncle Brian & Auntie Laura

Heading to pick up Auntie Becca from school, had to surprise her in costume! We put a bow on her, so people would know she was a girl monkey.

If you asked her what a monkey says, she'd respond "ooh, ooh, ahh, ahh". It was sooo cute and well fitting :) It went a little something like this...

Can anyone relate????

Other people got some better pictures so when/if they send them to me I'll post them up after.

Payton LOVED Trick or Treating. Despite the fact that it was below zero, Payton loved checking out all the kids in their costumes, walking around outside (not in a stroller) and adored all the decorations. She wasn't scared of any! In fact, when we left a house with decorations, she would cry and try going back to get a better look, saying "oh wow!". It was cute! We had a great time at my parents' house for dinner and then hanging out at Leon & Teresa's on Graham Drive to see soooo many adorable, familiar faces. Happy Halloween!
